While working full-time and at the tail-end of COVID – my wife and I took a wooded lot and turned it into a home with our bare hands in under a year. This site is a portfolio of the “finished” home. (Is a house ever really finished?)
The result is an incredibly efficient home we love, a lifetime of experiences, and a lot of lessons learned. What’s not documented here is the almost year leading up to construction which consisted of buying the land, design, engineering, procuring permits and materials, and lots and lots of planning.
We learned so much, that we spun up a site dedicated to rural home and cabin building. Check it out!
